Rabbi Selwyn Franklin

"The message has been powerful and relevant since the time of Abraham" says Rabbi Franklin, who
has been motivated by this idea of Judaism's contemporary relevance wherever he has served
as spiritual leader. Rabbi Franklin, together with his wife Eileen, has led communities in Israel, South
Africa, the United States, and Australia. His paramount mission has always been to try and excite Jews

the founders of Counterpoint in South Africa and Australia as well as Jews for Justice, an anti-apartheid
group in South Africa. Rabbi Franklin studied in yeshivot in Israel and received smichah from Rabbi J.B.
