We joined Rabbi Simcha Jacob in a series of shiurim in preparation for Shavuot: Not in Heaven...The challenge of understanding the human contribution.

THEN 30 of us braved the worst Shavuot rain in a few years and met for a night of food, celebration and learning, for the fifth year in a row, at the Charaks' home. Thanks to Lior Misrachi, Paul Turner, Jacquie Seemann Charak, Rabbi Jacob, Joel Nothman and Jenny Green for the learning program, and to Marion Marsh, Jack and Miriam Stein, and the Charak children (with help from Grunfeld's Catering) for our delicious dinner.
